Slow stitching is a creative, mindfulness activity. It keeps your hands occupied and focuses the mind, as you allow your artistry and imagination to come to the fore.
 
Lay out or layer up your pieces in a pleasing arrangement - like a collage - and use your needle and thread to stitch together. Cut your fabrics however you wish to create your design.
You can produce something beautiful and unique to you, even if you have limited sewing experience and you can keep it simple or experiment with different embroidery stitches or patterns.
